Seeing all the shows going on in Europe is giving me a bit of FOMO... so I thought it was time to revisit my trip to Europe last year for the LGCT Paris and Monaco show. Along with being the first time I attended these shows, it was also my first time going to Europe ever. I went with two other girls, and thankfully one of them had traveled abroad before. We spent four days in Paris, four days at Lake Lugano in Italy and then five days in Monaco. I can't even begin to describe how amazing (and also slightly chaotic) this trip was. It was truly a trip of a lifetime.
While we were at the show for a majority of the time, we were also able to do some sightseeing. In Paris, we went to the Louvre and Versailles. I'm usually not a museum person, but I really enjoyed my tour of the Louvre. Versailles... Versailles was simply magical. My friend and I got there a bit late in the day and then made the mistake of getting lunch there first instead of after we toured. So, while we didn't get to do a full tour we were able to tour the home for about forty-five minutes basically by ourselves before they closed the palace. Needless to say, I will definitely be going back. Also, I've been obsessed with Marie Antoinette since I was a little girl, so Petit Trianon will be the first place I tour. In Italy, we stayed at Lake Lugano, which is about an hour away from Lake Como. This place was so beautiful and scenic and was a nice change of pace from the bustle of Paris and Monaco. I highly recommend you visit Lake Lugano if you are looking for a calm and relaxing vacation! Our last stop was Monaco. I absolutely loved everything about Monaco, and out of all three locations, Monaco is the first place I want to go back to. If you find yourself in Monaco, I highly recommend you tour the Aquarium and the Prince's Palace while you are there!
Here's a little round-up of my favorite photos from the tip, hope you like them!
